Janoon started because [a school we know] was keeping fees in an Excel sheet that only one person understood. When she was off sick, nobody could tell a parent what they owed. We built the first version to fix that one problem.
Schools kept asking for the next thing. Attendance, then results, then a way for parents to stop calling the office. So it grew. Today it runs [the daily work at N schools], and most of what’s in it was asked for by a principal or a fee clerk.
